# About the Author

Hi! My name is Joseph Ravichandran. I'm a PhD student at MIT studying computer science.

I research microarchitecture (CPU) security. I have published research papers in vulnerabilities affecting Apple's chips, operating systems, and virtual reality.

I have contributed code to the Linux kernel and discovered over a dozen critical kernel security vulnerabilities in Apple's operating systems. Apple has credited me publicly as contributing to security fixes in many macOS and iOS updates over the past few years.

If you're running a Mac, iPhone, or a Linux system, you are already running code either I wrote or helped make more secure.

I created Curves because I was frustrated with moving between Final Cut and Motion for making animations. I've found Curves very useful and hope you do too!
