Hi! My name is [Joseph Ravichandran](https://jprx.io). I'm a PhD student at MIT
studying computer science.

I research microarchitecture (CPU) security. I have published research papers
in [vulnerabilities affecting Apple's chips](https://pacmanattack.com),
[operating systems](https://sp2026.ieee-security.org/accepted-papers.html), and
[virtual reality](https://illixr.org).

I have contributed code to the [Linux
kernel](https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/32452a3eb8b64e01e2be717f518c0be046975b9d)
and discovered over a dozen critical kernel security vulnerabilities in Apple's
operating systems. Apple has [credited me
publicly](https://support.apple.com/en-us/126348) as contributing to security
fixes in many macOS and iOS updates over the past few years.

If you're running a Mac, iPhone, or a Linux system, you are already running
code either I wrote or helped make more secure.

I created Curves because I was frustrated with moving between Final Cut and
Motion for making animations. I've found Curves very useful and hope you do
too!
